Confined Space - Medium Risk
This City & Guilds course is aimed at persons who are required to enter confined spaces and hazardous areas, providing them with an in depth knowledge of the legal requirements, legislation, safe systems of work and risk assessments.
This course is aimed specifically at entrants and includes competent use of appropriate confined space equipment, including Escape Breathing Apparatus (EBA) and practical exercises covering access, egress and safe working practices for confined space and hazardous areas.
On successful completion delegates will receive a Nationally Recognised certificate (valid 3 years).
Course Summary
Duration: 2 day, typically starting at 8.30AM
Maximum Instructor/Delegate Ratio: 1:10
Delivery Method: Classroom based theory, including practical exercises
Course Prerequisites: None, but prior experience is beneficial
Assessment: Written & Practical Assessments
Qualification: A nationally recognised City & Guilds Certificate, valid for 3 years
Awarding Body: City & Guilds
PPE Requirements: None, but advised to wear comfortable clothing for practical exercises
