IPAF Harness Courses
RSC Training offers a full range of IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) Harness training courses for all persons who's work involves requiring an understanding of, usage of and/or inspection of Harnesses and Lanyards.
The Work At Height Regulations 2005 places duties on employers, employees and self employed to ensure safety and competency when using this equipment. The following Harness training courses are produced by IPAF to help provide proof of competence and are only available from IPAF Approved Training Centres.

Harness Awareness Course
IPAF's Harness Awareness Course is a half day course aimed at persons who require a theoretical understanding of harnesses without the need to use one themselves. Course can be completed either in person in a classroom or via eLearning.

Harness User Course
IPAF's Harness User Course is aimed at persons who need to select, pre use check and use harness and lanyards when working in a Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP). Course can be completed after a Harness Awareness Course or as part of a 1b or 3b Operator Course.
